Services of Morning Prayer are offered at 8:30 a,n,, Tuesday through Friday, and Evening Prayer at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
On Thursday, Oct. 31, the regular 5 p.m. Eucharist will be celebrated as All Hallows Eve (the origin of the word “Halloween”), the vigil of All Saints Day. In addition, a special Eucharist for All Souls Day will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov, 2.
Commenting on this, Fr. Kemp shared, “Nov. 1 is the feast of All Saints, which celebrates all the holy women and men, both well-known and unheard of, who have completed their course in this life and now stand as examples to us all of how to follow Christ faithfully. Nov. 2 is All Souls Day, a commemoration of all faithful departed, who died trusting in Christ as their savior. This day has a more somber tone, as we pray for those who have died, that their spiritual growth will continue in God’s presence.”
